A goal for each of us is to SAVE ONE SOUL before the year is gone. The way we can do this is to bring one or more to hear the gospel preached, and afterward continue to teach them ourselves. To do so, we must think about Jesus, pray for wisdom and guidance, talk about Jesus, fill our hearts and lives with love of His word and tell the old, old story of love that He brought to earth 2000 years ago. To SAVE ONE SOUL is worth more than all the gold in the world. No soul can be saved unless he or she hears the gospel of Christ, for as is stated in Rom. 10:17, “So belief cometh of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ”. “And without faith
it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto Him, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that
He is a rewarder of them that seek Him (Heb. 11:6). One must then be led to repent of his sins (Luke 13:3), and be baptized for the forgiveness of his sins (Acts 2:38; Mark 16:15,16), which is a turning away from ones sins in sorrow unto repentance, and baptism, a burial in water (Rom. 6:3-4). We then become children of God and have put on Christ (Gal. 3:26, 27). “There is salvation in no other name than that of Jesus Christ” (Acts 4:10-12). We can all bring them in that they may hear the Word of God preached, and so they may believe it and obey (Rom. 10:13, 14). Please, let us go and SAVE ONE SOUL by bringing him to Christ.
