In Proverbs 25:11, Solomon declared, “A word fitly spoken is
like apples of gold in network of silver.” No doubt in this statement
Solomon was speaking of God’s Word. There is nothing
that stands out more, in all that is said or written than the
Word of God. The Bible is unique among all the books that
have ever been written.
Properly understood, every statement
of the Bible is found to be true. It has been proven to
be, by all who read and study it, “The best book to live by
and the only book to die by.” The wisest men among us have
used the Bible as their guide for living and have rejoiced in
it’s teaching. Not a flaw can be found in it. The only persons
that have objected to it are the ones who object to it’s teachings
about some evil things that they want to do. All of it’s
teaching has been found to be scientifically and morally correct.
People all over the world today are rejoicing in it’s teaching.
Our nation was founded upon the desire for the freedom
of preaching and teaching the Word as revealed in the Bible,
and we have grown into the greatest of all nations. God has
always blessed, now and forever, those who follow Him. As
the apostle declared in Eph. 5:1-2, “Be ye therefore imitators
of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, even as Christ
also loved you, and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a
sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.” Are you daily
reading and studying your Bible? If you’re not, you are missing
a wonderful opportunity to get to know God, your Maker.
“Blessed is the man who walketh not in the council of the
ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the
seat of the scornful; But his delight is in the law of the Lord,
and in His law doth He meditate day and night.” (Psalm 1:1,2)
