Living for God
“And Israel served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and
all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, and had known
all the works of the Lord, that he had done for Israel.” (Joshua
24:31)
The influence we have in our lives lives on whether it is
good or bad. And I believe each of us influences somebody
whether the smallest child or the greatest person that ever
lived as Jesus.
While Joshua had lasting influence over a whole nation
we can influence another to become a Christian and he or
she may influence thousands to be Christians. It is a never
dying chain as long as there are those to pick up the cross
of Jesus and bear it by obeying Him.
The influence of a Christian father or mother lives on in
their children. My wife and I never cease to rejoice that we
had Christian fathers and mothers to show us the way. And
there were many others who had a good influence on our
lives. Thank you, Jesus, for coming and showing us the
way! (1 Peter 2:21-25)
Are you living as God would have you live so that you
can have the right influence upon others, as well as save
your own soul?
Love you, David V. Fultz
