ALL THE CHURCHES OF CHRIST SALUTE YOU (Rom. 16:16)

We have been receiving some good lessons recently about the church that Jesus built. We need to be reminded that Jesus built but one church, and how we can identify it today among the multitudes that are in existence. Remember that Jesus said, “I Am the way, the truth and the life, and no onecometh unto the Father but by me” (John 14:6).

The apostle Paul taught, “...let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, to the which also ye are in ONE body (church) and be ye thankful” (Col. 3:15); and in 1 Cor. 1:10, he says, “...that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfected together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” Christ is the head of but one body or church. Eph. 1:22- 23 states “and He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church which is His body, the fullness of Him that filleth all in all.” There is but one church built by God and the apostle Paul tells us how it is identified in the new testament and how we may identify it (Eph. 4:1-16). Please read this scripture. It is the church built by Christ (Matt.16:16-18), bought by His blood (Acts 20:28), of which He is the savior and head (Eph. 5:23).
