ARE YOU A CHRISTIAN?

We are all familiar with the Biblical story of the birth of the Christ child, recorded in the Gospels. Some may wonder why God left no record as to the exact day that He was born.

Still we celebrate His birth and we marvel at the wonder of it, that God would actually send His own Son into the world as a babe to grow up to be a man, and then give His life on the cross for all of mankind that He had created. At this wonderful time of year, we are reminded of the Love, Joy and Peace that the coming of Jesus brought, and continues to bring to all believers. God’s love for us is so strong that He gave the greatest and most precious gift of all, His Son, that we might live forever (John 3:16). He has manifested His love to us in every possible way, and has so vividly described for us in 1 Cor. 13 what love is. He brought joy to our hearts in the forgiveness of our sins (Acts 2:38;22:16). We are told in Phil. 4:4-7 to ...”Rejoice in the Lord always, and again I say rejoice...In nothing be anxious; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God which passeth all understanding shall guard your hearts and thoughts in Christ Jesus.” As Christians, this wonderful privilege can be ours every day of our lives! Don’t miss a single day of it. Psalms 1:1-6 tells us how.
