DO YOU LOVE JESUS?

When a sinful woman came into the house where Jesus was, she was found manifesting her love for Him by washing His feet and drying them with her hair as she kissed them (Luke 7:36-50). She saw in Him what others had not seen, that He was the King of kings, and Lord of lords, and she bowed down and worshipped Him, and her sins, which were many, were forgiven.

Do we, when we come into the presence of Jesus, show our love for Him? Do we bow down to worship Him and confess our sins? Do we let Him know how much we love Him by what we do for Him, rather than asking what He will do for us?

Sometimes it seems, we think He is our servant, rather than our Lord and Master, the One whom we are to serve! There is so much we can do for the Lord, and our lives will be made better for it. Remember He has said, “I was hungry and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty and ye gave me to drink, I was a stranger and ye took me in; naked and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison and ye came unto me” When they asked when did they do these things, He answered, “Inasmuch as ye did it unto one of these, my brethren, even these least, ye did it unto me” (Matt. 25:34-36). Also, He has told us to preach the gospel to all the world, and He will be with us always, even to the end of the world (Matt. 28:18-20).
