ARE YOU READY?

Jesus said, “He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my sayings, hath one that judgeth him; the word that I spake, the same shall judge him in the last day.” (John 12:48) God has loved us so much that He sent His own Son into the world to deliver His Word to us, and He sent His disciples to deliver this Word into all the world to every person, that all might hear, believe and obey to be saved, and then to teach all things commanded (Mark 16:15, 16; Matt. 28; 18-20).

We have this word revealed to us in the Bible. God wants us to read and study this word that we might be saved; and those that hear and obey will be saved. (2 Tim. 2:15). We must then, “as newborn babes” continue to read and study the word as we grow into the people that God wants us to be through all eternity (1 Pet. 2:1- 10). Although we are saved from our past sins when we are baptized into Christ, our life as Christians has just begun. The more we know about God the more we want to know, and our study and meditation upon His word continues as long as we are on the earth. And then think of what a joy awaits us, to be with Him forever! But if you find no joy in worshipping and serving your Lord in this life, there will be none in worshipping Him in Heaven, which is a prepared place for a prepared people.
