It is so badly needed by the world today, not only to show that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures, and that He was buried and rose again (1 Cor. 15:3-4), but we have His plan as revealed in His Word to save the world, that is to teach them to BELIEVE on Jesus as the Son of God (Heb. 11:6), REPENT of their sins (Lk 13:3), CONFESS their faith in Jesus as the Son of God (Rom. 10:9-10), and be buried with Him in BAPTISM for the remission or their sins (Acts 2:38; Rom. 6:1-6), and then to BE FAITHFUL unto death and “I will give you the crown of life,” (Rev. 2:10). We also have the true pattern of worship of God as He has told us in scripture (Jn. 4:24). This consists of teaching or preaching God’s word, praying, partaking of the Lord’s supper upon the first day of each week (Acts 20:7), of “fellowship” which includes giving of our means (Acts 2:42; 1 Cor. 16:1-2), and of singing praises unto God (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16). This is what God has authorized for those who would worship Him in Spirit and in truth (Jn. 4:24). Some would add instruments of music, but there is no authority found for this in the New Testament. We should daily read and study God’s Word and abide by it’s teaching (2 Tim. 2:15). God has placed upon us who are members of His church the responsibility of letting the world know of the purity and simplicity there is in Christ Jesus (2 Cor. 4:5-7; 2 Cor. 11:3). We have a message of gladness and great joy to share with all with all the world about us. It is the best news they will ever hear. Christ is now reigning over His kingdom, the church, and when we go out to bid others to come in, He has promised to be with us all the way (Matt. 28:18-20). Tell it today. Perhaps you’ll want someone to go with you. Bring others to worship with you to hear the Word preached. Let us be as sure as we can that everyone has an opportunity to hear God’s Word taught.
