THE RIGHT DECISION
Most of us are familiar with the story of Ruth who was a
Moabite, yet left her family and all she had to go with her
mother-in-law, Naomi, an Israelite, saying, “Entreat me
not to leave thee, or return from following after thee: for
whether thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, will
I lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God, my
God. Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried:
the Lord do so to me, and more also, if aught but

of rest and thought of what the apostle John said in Rev.
1:10, “I was in the Spirit on the Lord’s Day...” and he went on

requires our best from each of His own.

the World’. It was that day spoken of by the Psalmist, “This
is the day the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in
it” (Psalms 118:24).

PRAYER
“Brethren, pray for us” the apostle Paul wrote in 1 Thess.
5:25, following his admonition to “pray without ceasing” in v.
17. Possibly no one realized the purpose and the power of
prayer more than this apostle. His life, like that of Jesus,
was filled with prayer.
