Rise and Shine
Thanks ahead of time to Kris Moore, David Barnett, and
Tim Norman for filling my teaching and preaching responsibilities
while I’m away at Palo Duro this weekend. We are
blessed to have a lot of capable men who are able and willing
to fill in to meet our various needs from time to time.

THE RIGHT DECISION
Most of us are familiar with the story of Ruth who was a
Moabite, yet left her family and all she had to go with her
mother-in-law, Naomi, an Israelite, saying, “Entreat me
not to leave thee, or return from following after thee: for
whether thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, will
I lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God, my
God. Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried:
the Lord do so to me, and more also, if aught but
death part thee and me.” (Ruth 1:16)

Thank You
Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ at Parkway,
Dick and I want to thank you for all the cards and prayers since we
have moved here. We love everyone and want you to know you all
have been a source of comfort and moral support. Your Christian
spirit is strong and your love for one another is like a light that shines
to the world.
Love in Christ, Dick & Jo Norman
Dear Parkway Family,
I have tried to wait to write a thank you card until some of our pain
has been lifted, but I don’t see that happening for awhile. So I thought
we would write y’all anyway. Our whole family wants to thank y’all for
all the love and kindness we have been shown. The money that was
raised, the phone calls, the cards, and the food. It has all meant to
very much. A couple of wise ladies in the church has said “Just let
people love you”, and although that seems like a simple task, it has
proven to be most difficult especially when you don’t feel worthy.
Truly, with all our hearts, thank you to everyone for all the love we
have been shown for the past 4 weeks. Please continue to pray for
us.
In His Love, the Ragan & Nemec family

We want to provide you a church home... a home with family members that
you will find supportive and loving under the leadership and example of
Christ. Here, you will find hands to help you, and opportunities for you to
help others. Here you will find voices to laugh and to sing with; as
well as shoulders to cry on. Here, you will learn more about God,
Christ, His church, and the family he established for us, all in the
example of love that Christ has given to each of us.
VALUES STATEMENT
We are a body of redeemed people who value:
God our Father, Christ our Savior,
The Spirit of Truth, the body of Christ,
the institution of the family,
and the souls of all mankind.
MISSION STATEMENT
Our purpose is to reach out locally and universally
to prepare people of all ages and races to:
worship humbly, evangelize personally,
serve actively, fellowship lovingly,
to the glory of God.
VISION STATEMENT
Our goal is to become a unique church of values, mission
and vision: which effectively ministers to all people; which grows in spirit and love; where every
Christian can serve and worship; where all people are welcome; where our Lord leads and we
follow.
