Rise and Shine

I hope you have already planned to be with us for our church-wide fellowship this Sunday. We will have plenty of food and plenty of room for all!

It was good to be able to hear James Sanderson share the word with us again last Sunday night. It made me chuckle when he said some thought that God placed his hand on the world where Michigan is and gave it a spin! Both James and Patti came south to Lubbock to attend the workshop hosted by the Sunset International Bible Institute. (James was even on this year’s program!) They moved from Beulah to Saginaw, Michigan, not too long ago, where they continue to labor with the Lord’s church. You may remember that James was in the process of completing a book on evangelism last time he was here. Now, of course, it has been completed and SIBI has even asked him to produce 24 videos while he’s down here so that they can incorporate it into their curriculum! Please remember to keep them in your prayers. It was an honor supporting them as our missionaries.

But we don’t have to wonder about who is going to win. Much has been written about this battle and man’s ideas about how it will be carried out. But God tells us plainly about the result of the fight.
